With this Privacy Policy, we, Brabbler Secure Message and Data Exchange Aktiengesellschaft, Ria-Burkei-Straße 26, 81249 Munich/Germany (data controller), inform you about the collection, processing, and use of personally identifiable data on its website www.brabbler.ag, and what rights you are entitled to under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with regard to your data.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to our products ginlo and ginlo @work.

3. What data is collected during my visit?

When you visit a certain page, the following information is written into a log file: URL of the corresponding page, date and time of the visit, any error messages, the operating system and your browser software as well as the website from which you visit us. The last byte of your device’s IP address will be masked so that only a shortened version of it is stored in our log file. The IP address is a unique ID assigned to your device, either temporarily or permanently.

Information from the log file will be exclusively used to ensure proper functioning of our services (e.g. error analysis, system security, and protection against abuse) as well as for anonymized visitor statistics.

We delete this log data after 3 months at the latest.

The legal basis for the storage of the log data – insofar as this data represents personal data – is our legitimate interests in ensuring system security, protection against misuse, and the demand-oriented design of our website (Art. 6(1) lit. f GDPR).

Our servers store the usual standard data. However, to protect your privacy, only a shortened version of your IP address will be logged.

4. What happens to my data when I apply
as a beta tester?

If you apply as a beta tester, we will need the following information from you: title, first name and salutation as well as your e-mail address. This information will help us to contact you about your application as well as in the course of the beta test. Should we be unable to accept your application, your data will be deleted within 1 week. If you become a beta tester, your data will be deleted as soon as the beta phase ends, unless you decide to further use the product.

We will send you a unique link to your e-mail address. By clicking on this link, you confirm that you are the owner of the e-mail address.

The legal basis for the use of your data as a beta tester is the fulfilment of the contract (Art. 6(1) lit. b GDPR).

In addition, we may send you information related to our products and services in the field of online confidentiality and privacy to this e-mail address. You can unsubscribe from receiving this information free of charge at any time simply by clicking on the Unsubscribe link that you find in each e-mail. The legal basis for this use is our legitimate interests in a further communication with the beta testers (Art. 6(1) lit. f GDPR).

Data from your application as a beta tester will, of course, only be used in the context of product-related tests.

5. Will my data be passed on?

For the operation of our website as well as for sending e-mails we may use third parties to provide services in the course of commissioned-data processing. These are located exclusively in Germany.

Other companies provide us with technical assistance, but the data always remains in Germany.

6. What are my rights?
